Sweepings

…I collected the instruments of life around me…

I gave a talk on the Evil Eye at Education in Reverse, a series of events curated by Sarah Tripp. This led to an exhibition at Glasgow Project Room in May, 2000, co-curated with Kevin Kelly.

I notice in my assemblage the starting images for my scrutiny of “lion”; see cover to Shapes Found for Living, see The Lion’s Share, Minor Literature[s], see The Shape of Gestural Resistance, talk given at Ek: Ekphrasis Symposium, also in Glasgow Project Room – 25 years later.

Inventory

The essay EvilEyeLive was first published in the journal Inventory.

Inventory: Losing, Finding, Collecting

I worked with the group Inventory between 1995-2003; we produced an eponymously titled journal, art works, and exhibitions.
